About the Role
We are looking for committed and empathetic Disability Support Workers to join our team in Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses across Brisbane North and Moreton Bay. This role includes afternoon shifts starting from 3 PM and requires inactive overnight sleepover shifts.
You will work closely with participants to provide daily living support, promote independence, and assist with personal care, meal preparation, community outings, and medical appointments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide respectful and dignified support with personal care and hygiene
Prepare meals and support participants with household tasks
Assist with community access and attending appointments
Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reports
Create a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
Stay overnight during inactive sleepover shifts, providing assistance as required
What We’re Looking For
Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, or related field
Current First Aid & CPR certification
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
COVID-19 vaccinations in line with health directives
Previous experience in disability support or SIL environment (preferred)
Reliable, compassionate, and committed to person-centred care
