The Team
The Evidence Management (EM) team provides evidence collection, processing, management, and secure storage services to assist ASIC's regulatory teams to review and present evidence in courts and other bodies.
The role
As an Evidence Officer, you will be required to:
- Assist team members and stakeholders with evidence management practices and techniques.
- Register, process, securely store, archive, dispose and manage ASIC evidence throughout its life cycle.
- Classify, index and maintain records and information on ASICs evidence and other system in accordance with established guidelines and practices.
- Meet key performance indicators and business plan objectives.
- Maintain professional standards in terms of technology and methodologies used in evidence management.
- Follow all evidence management policies and procedures.
- Foster and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to create and maintain a collaborative working environment,
- Demonstrate data and digital skills, including familiarity with relational databases (MS Access and/or SQL), data analytics, reporting tools, and structured/unstructured data sources.
About you:
Ideally, you will have demonstrated experience in evidence management, as well as the use of litigation support software such as Nuix Discover, Nuix Workstation, EDT, Access Data, Relativity. However, we are also looking for candidates with transferable skills including providing business support in a professional services or legal environment and using complex systems.
- Experience and skills at managing stakeholder and service delivery expectations, responding to complex enquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
- Communication skills (verbally and written) to present information to different audiences.
- Stakeholder management experience including building, maintaining and utilising industry networks.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
Qualifications in law, information technology or business are desirable.
