Who We’re Looking For
Are you an energetic and dedicated Educator ready to make a meaningful impact? We’re searching for someone with a genuine passion for children to join our Kids United OSHC team as a coordinator.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting both our families and educators. You’ll ensure that our educators meet all regulatory requirements, uphold the highest standards of care, and deliver engaging, educational programs that inspire children. Working closely with educators, families, and the broader community, you’ll help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where each child’s needs are met.

Hours of Operation:
· Before School Care: 6:30am - 9:00 am
· After School Care: 2:30pm - 6:30 pm
· Vacation Care: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
Key Responsibilities as an OSHC Coordinator:
- · Lead the delivery of a high-quality, educational, and engaging programs.
- · Ensure compliance with National Regulations.
- · Implement the National Quality Standards effectively.
- · Design programs that align with the 'My Time Our Place' framework.
- · Foster positive, productive, and respectful communication and engagement with children, families, and team members.
- · Serve as the responsible person on site.
- · Identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
- · Support and nurture the development of children in your care.
- · Oversee administrative tasks and attend regular management meetings.
- · Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being.
- · Assist with light cleaning duties and food preparation.
- · Participate in monthly staff meetings.
- Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in OSHC or Childcare with strong leadership qualities.
- Diploma in Children's Services or OOSH (preferred).
- Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate your team.
- Demonstrated honesty and integrity.
- Experience with 'Kidsxap' or similar software.
- High-level technology skills and abilities.
- Experience working with children with disabilities.
- Quick-thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- Recent Police Check (less than 6 months old) or willingness to obtain prior to starting.
- First Aid certificate (including CPR, anaphylaxis, asthma management, and emergency first aid in an education and care setting) or willingness to obtain prior to starting.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
