Overview

Behind every great communication – speech, press interview, email, blog, or video –
is somebody who thinks strategically about how best to make the content and the speaker come alive.

As the Executive and Employee Communications Manager for Microsoft Australia and New Zealand, you will have the opportunity to be the voice behind the voice, cementing the brand for our local Managing Director, both internally and externally.

You will play a critical role in defining the messages delivered by the Managing Director through internal and external communications including speaking engagements, video, social media and PR. You will also be responsible for developing content, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies, and for identifying and securing opportunities to build the Managing Director’s brand externally.

In addition, you will support corporate and brand storytelling by positioning Microsoft Australia and New Zealand as the best place to work and the leader in digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence, while also bringing to life our purpose of empowering every person and organisation on the planet to achieve more.

This includes identifying and developing stories which bring to life our corporate mission and landing those stories both internally and externally using a mix of earned, owned and paid media channels.
