Gardening & Cleaning Support Workers (NDIS) - (2 applicants required)
Happy Living Support Services is on the lookout for dependable and caring individuals to provide gardening and yard maintenance (every 3 weeks) along with regular home cleaning (every 2-3 weeks) for our wonderful NDIS participants.
If you enjoy working outdoors, love keeping spaces neat and tidy, and have a heart for helping others — this could be the perfect role for you!
Gardening & Yard Maintenance:
- Lawn mowing, edging, and whipper snipping
- Weeding, mulching, and basic garden upkeep
- Pruning shrubs, trimming hedges
- Green waste removal and tidy-up
- Clearing walkways and driveways
- General outdoor maintenance for safety and accessibility
- Set schedule with yard maintenance every 3 weeks
Domestic Cleaning:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning kitchens (bench-tops, sinks, stovetops, etc.)
- Bathroom cleaning (toilets, showers, basins)
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Laundry support (as required)
- Rubbish removal and general home tidying
- Supporting participants in maintaining a safe and pleasant home environment
- Set schedule with domestic cleaning every 2-3 weeks
Requirements:
- Experience in gardening and/or domestic cleaning (NDIS experience is a bonus)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Police Check and Working with Children Check (if required)
- Own vehicle and basic gardening equipment preferred
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a friendly attitude
- Respectful, client-focused, and able to work independently
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
