About The QIMR Berghofer Grants Office
The QIMR Berghofer Grants Office sits in the Research Governance and Funding portfolio and supports the full lifecycle of research grants at QIMR Berghofer from pipelining through close out. As part of the post award team, you will be responsible for supporting researchers establish and manage their funding to deliver significant medical research breakthroughs.
Role Purpose / Responsibilities:
Applications are invited for Grants Officer Post Award in the QIMR Berghofer Grants office. As a small office you will be responsible for all aspects of Postaward activity including Financial management, grant administration and contracting.
Key Responsibiilities:
- Provide advice to ensure that compliance with the relevant Conditions of Award or Funding Agreements
- Provide Ongoing financial management of cost centres.
- Establish research agreements
- Co-ordinate reporting including providing financial statements
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including researcher, funders, and other business units.
About you:
- You are required to have a tertiary qualification in a relevant area and experience in grant or research management.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact easily with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- High level of competence with Excel and other software systems.
Remuneration: Salary range is $103,278 to $112,359 plus super and generous salary packaging. This is a full-time, permanent appointment.
