Job Description
In this key leadership role, you'll work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board to guide the financial and operational performance of the group. You'll bring insight, challenge, and clarity to complex decisions, ensuring our finance function drives real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Finance Business Partners and Commercial Managers to deliver impactful financial insights and strategic support to Business Unit leadership
- Provide commercial financial leadership and insights to the Executive Leadership Team and respective leadership teams
- Lead the Group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Delivery of financial performance reports and budget updates during Board meetings with confidence and clarity
- Critically evaluate major business cases, projects, and commercial decisions across the Group
Qualifications
We’re seeking a seasoned and commercially driven finance leader who thrives in complexity and brings a strategic mindset to every challenge. With a strong technical foundation and a proven ability to influence at the highest levels, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of the organisation.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications complemented by a professional accreditation
- Proven leadership of commercial finance teams and close partnership with senior stakeholders, including at Executive and Board level
- Deep experience in group financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and performance analysis
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage, influence, and challenge senior stakeholders with credibility and impact
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate capital investments and business cases, with advanced financial modelling and commercial assessment skills
- Strong capability in translating complex financial data into actionable insights and influencing strategic decision-making
- Experience in infrastructure, capital-intensive, or highly leveraged sectors is advantageous
