About the Role
The Head of Department - Maths & Science will lead the Junior Secondary team, with the role commencing on Monday 18 August 2025 (Week 6, Term 3). This leadership position requires strong relational and instructional capabilities, a proven ability to drive improvement in Maths and Science, build high-performing teams, and foster positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider community. It's an exciting opportunity to lead STEM education in a rapidly growing, future-focused school.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Department - Mathematics/Science, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead faculty teams in alignment with school priorities and departmental initiatives
Develop and embed high-quality teaching and learning practices
Support the wellbeing and professional growth of staff
Contribute to the broader strategic leadership of the college
