We currently have an opportunity for a Head of Zero Harm – Performance and Assurance. Join our leading a team of Zero Harm experts to deliver Social Infrastructure wide Zero Harm improvement and Group required programs, training content, performance reporting, data analytics, 1st/2nd/3rd Line of Defence Assurance Programs and coordinating consistent risk management and Critical Risk management application across the team.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Lead the Zero Harm Centre of Excellence which is responsible for development of Zero Harm
- Drive cultural transformation in making Zero Harm processes, and in particular, Critical Risk
- Management, user friendly, easy to access, clear and simple for employees and our sub- contract partners, to make Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services a clear sector leader in Zero Harm performance.
- Oversee the effective management, administration and reporting of data, statistics, trends and analysis of Zero Harm data including (but not limited to) development of Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services End of Month, Half Yearly, EOFY and Board Reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation of compelling bids and provide support to the bid teams; enhance bid submissions by providing information that provides an edge for Downer over our competitors.
- Lead the development of Social Infrastructure learning and compliance content development activities as they relate to Zero Harm
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive practical experience within a similar (senior HSE Advisor or Manager) WHS/OHS or change management role.
- Experience providing technical health, safety, and environmental advice across multiple industry sectors.
- Experience successfully influencing senior operational managers to ensure operational adherence to critical controls.
- Understanding of principles & content of relevant principal and subordinate WHS legislation
- Ability to write professional reports and present key findings to operational and senior management
