We’re on the hunt for an energetic, friendly, and passionate Food & Beverage Attendant to join the team at our beloved local pub — a true community hub that’s buzzing with regulars, travellers, and local legends alike.
About the Role:
As a key player in our front-of-house team, you’ll be the face of the pub — welcoming guests, keeping service smooth, and bringing great vibes from open to close. From pouring beers to serving bistro meals, helping with functions, or chatting to locals on the courtesy bus, no two days are the same.
You’ll thrive in this hands-on role if you love creating memorable experiences, enjoy staying busy, and take pride in a well-presented venue. Our pub is growing, and we're aiming to be the go-to local spot — a little closer to home, and a whole lot of fun.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Delivering friendly, efficient food and beverage service
- Creating a welcoming environment for locals, workers, and guests staying on-site
- Keeping service areas clean, safe, and looking their best
- Supporting bar, bistro, functions, and conference service
- Handling cash and POS systems confidently
- Ensuring responsible service of alcohol and helping keep the good times safe
- Jumping behind the wheel of our courtesy bus if needed (no special license required)
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous hospitality experience (but we’re happy to train the right person)
- Positive energy and a great sense of humor
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A genuine team player who can multitask like a pro
- Confidence in handling cash and phone inquiries
- Physically capable of lifting glass trays, beer cartons, or the occasional keg
- RSA & RSG certified (essential)
- Willing to work weekends, nights, and public holidays
