Looking for a determined candidate for the available position of an irrigation Designer. This position requires technical knowledge with hand work through assembling various simple to high tech water automation systems.
Read and analyse irrigation plans and drawings, selecting materials and equipment Applicant must be capable to adapt, be able to participate in the training provided on site.
Depending on the applicant, there is a long-term position available.
Main Duties:
- plan and design irrigation systems for agricultural and other land management projects.
- Ability to read and analyse irrigation plans and drawing , to select materials and control equipment.
- knowledge in control irrigation equipment, logistic and scheduling irrigation equipment installation .
- Communicate with clients about system operations, maintenance schedules, and necessary requirements to be able to design the optimal system.
- Knowledge to apply irrigation control products for individual project application.
- Knowledge to combine technical expertise with an understanding of the specific environmental factors to be efficient irrigation solution.
- Design and plan irrigation system according to Goldtec products, climate, water source availability, crop & soil characteristics
- Plan and Determining irrigation system hydraulic parameters, horticulture sensor parameters.
- Knowledge in irrigation agronomic parameter range for plantations with irrigation control system software, inclusive of automated irrigation timers and sensors
-Experience in irrigation controllers application.
-Experience in agronomist support with irrigation controller and sensors
