About the role
Council is currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Law Enforcement Officer to join its Law Enforcement team. Does this sound like you?
As a Law Enforcement Officer with the City of Canada Bay Council you will be responsible for undertaking Council's law enforcement activities to meet community expectations and the requirements of the Local Government Act and other relevant legislation.
You will also be required to carry out regulatory functions including inspecting, monitoring, patrolling and enforcement to ensure community health, safety and protection, environmental protection and compliance with approvals and orders issued by Council.
Using your outstanding customer service, verbal and written communication skills, you will also prepare and monitor the procedures and maintain the appropriate level of record keeping (verbal, written or computerised) associated with the role, in conjunction with the Coordinator Law Enforcement & Parking and the Manager Health Building & Compliance.
Your demonstrated commitment to ethics, probity and transparency in decision making as well as previous experience in the same or a similar role are essential for this position.
