At Contour, we’re looking for a design assassin and brand guardian - someone who lives and breathes visuals and wants to take their craft to the next level. So far, the co-founders have shaped Contour’s look and feel - from logos and colours to social media graphics and fonts.
Now we’re looking for someone else to be the face and source of truth for all things design and brand style. Someone who can elevate our style guide to new heights, protect the standard, and partner with leaders across the business to create stunning visuals for marketing, operations, sales, academics, and more.
This role is for someone who loves working across a wide range of design mediums and thrives on collaboration - bringing others’ visions to life while staying true to precise visual guidelines.
Who Are We
We empower students by providing an ecosystem of highly effective tutoring, resources, and support. We run weekly small-group tutoring sessions at our campuses, delivered by young, experienced tutors who teach in a simple, engaging way. These are supplemented with workshops, one-on-one support, and a digital portal of resources and practice material to help students master their subjects.
Since launching in 2020, over 8,000 students and 250+ team members have joined Contour Education. What You’ll Do
- Own and elevate Contour’s visual identity - take our style guide and push it to world-class standards.
- Codify and protect the brand - define rules, systems, and assets that make Contour instantly recognisable.
- Design across all mediums - from social media graphics and ads to websites, flyers, and print collateral.
- Shape digital experiences - create UI/UX concepts, Figma wireframes, and direction for new web apps and platforms.
- Collaborate with leaders - work with marketing, operations, sales, academics, and leadership to deliver visuals that inspire and convert.
- Deliver premium marketing collateral - campaigns, events, and branded content that feel polished and iconic.
- Be the brand guardian - review and approve outputs to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Innovate and inspire - bring fresh ideas, explore trends, and translate them into bold, distinctive designs.
- Mentor and guide - set the design standard at Contour and, over time, help build a design function around you.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years in graphic, brand, or visual design with a portfolio showing world-class work across digital, print, and marketing - we recommend you attach a portfolio.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma - able to design everything from social posts to websites and collateral.
- Proven experience building or elevating a company’s visual identity, style guide, and brand systems.
- Comfort with high-level UI/UX concepts, including wireframing and shaping intuitive experiences.
- Collaborative approach - partners seamlessly with leaders across teams while upholding brand standards.
- Pixel-perfect detail, bold creativity, and the confidence to push boundaries.
- Ownership mentality and strong communication - able to clearly explain and defend design choices.
- A growth mindset and ambitious attitude - thrives under high expectations and takes pride in setting the standard.
Bonus if you’ve worked with education or consumer brands where trust and inspiration matter.

The pay range for this role is:
110,000 - 130,000 AUD per year(Melbourne CBD)
