About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Learning & Development Advisor to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of our learning initiatives. You will play a key role in enhancing employee capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous development across the organisation. Reporting to the Manager Employee and Organisational Success, and managing a Learning & Development Coordinator, you’ll blend hands-on delivery with strategic planning to ensure our workforce is equipped for present and future success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver learning and development strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Conduct training needs analyses across business units.
- Develop and implement engaging learning programs (in-house and outsourced).
- Partner with stakeholders to support talent development, performance improvement, and succession planning.
- Oversee the coordination and delivery of training logistics via the Learning & Development Coordinator.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions and report on outcomes.
- Lead projects including leadership development, onboarding programs, and digital learning solutions.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training and maintain accurate training records.
About You:
- Proven experience in a learning and development or training advisory role.
- Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience managing or mentoring staff.
- Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
