Who are we looking for?
An experienced, strategic Manager, Business Services to lead core operational functions across our Community Aged Care portfolio during a period of significant growth and reform. This is a key leadership role within one of South Australia’s most trusted aged care providers, supporting services that enable older people to live safely and independently at home.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Lead and inspire the Business Services team through a period of sector reform and transformation
- Oversee operations, including rostering, administration, compliance and reporting across multiple sites
- Provide strategic, data-informed advice to improve efficiency, service quality, and decision-making
- Identify and implement scalable, sustainable process improvements to future-proof operations
- Support portfolio growth through effective business development and workforce planning strategies
- Ensure compliance with aged care legislation, quality standards, and accreditation requirements
- Manage systems for quality, risk, incident response, and continuous improvement
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders to enable innovation and impact
What do you need to bring?
- Tertiary qualification in a business-related field and/or significant related experience
- A resilient, calm, and strategic mindset, with the ability to lead confidently through complexity and change
- Extensive experience managing rostering, workforce planning, compliance, reporting, and business operations across multiple sites
- Proven ability to work autonomously, streamline processes, and drive operational improvements
- Strong skills in business analytics, planning, and developing strategic models to support growth
- High commercial acumen and understanding of financial and regulatory frameworks
- A supportive and accountable leadership style, with a track record of building high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with strengths in reporting and problem-solving
- Proficiency in business systems and technologies to support efficiency and insight
- Knowledge of aged care reform, compliance standards, and continuous improvement frameworks
