The Role
As Manager of the Heart Health Check (HHC) program, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of this mobile heart health testing service. Now in its 14th year, the HHC is a cornerstone of the Institute's outreach and corporate engagement efforts. You'll be responsible for ensuring the program's financial sustainability, expanding its reach, and enhancing its impact. This includes managing budgets, staff, logistics, and client relationships, as well as identifying new business opportunities and partnerships. You'll work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer and collaborate with Media & Communications and Development Fund teams. Your leadership will ensure the HHC continues to deliver high-quality health checks while raising awareness of cardiovascular disease and supporting the Institute's broader mission. This is a hands-on, multifaceted role with national reach and real-world impact.

- Managing the HHC budget and financial reporting
- Developing and monitoring event costing models
- Overseeing travel expenses, invoicing, and grant applications
- Ensuring accurate data management and communications
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Coordinating logistics and testing event calendars
- Leading media and branding collaborations with partners
- Recruiting, training, and managing HHC and agency staff
- Overseeing staff rosters, equipment, and professional development
- Managing consumables, equipment maintenance, and vehicle care
- Supporting Institute fundraising and representing the Institute at events

- You have qualifications in health, business development, or customer service
- You bring proven experience in business management and budgeting
- You're highly organised and skilled in project management
- You have strong leadership experience and enjoy managing teams
- You understand cardiovascular health or are eager to broaden your knowledge
- You're an excellent communicator and presenter
- You're proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- You're confident using SimplyBook, Sling, MS Forms, and SharePoint
- You can be flexible with working hours and travel, where require
- You have a strong customer service ethic and stakeholder focus
