At the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC), we are modernising the way we regulate the gambling sector. This is about more than structural change — it's about building deep expertise, enhancing our capabilities, and strengthening our focus on risk-based, intelligence led decision making.

Join us during a time of revitalisation and innovation
Why Join Us?
The VGCCC is an independent statutory authority with a globally leading approach to regulation of the gambling industry, ensuring that we focus on minimising harm to the Victorian community.
We are a values driven, inclusive organisation and are looking for people with demonstrated expertise in their field, who are committed to helping us drive our values – ‘act with courage', ‘make it happen', ‘work together', ‘respect others', and ‘act with integrity' in everything we do.
We strive for exceptional employee experience and actively seek to build a diverse workforce that represents the community we serve. We foster a culture of belonging and inclusion where diverse perspectives are valued and respected. We encourage applications from people of all ages, abilities, ethnic, cultural and linguistic backgrounds, religious beliefs, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people who are diverse in gender and sexuality.
Our Opportunity
As the Manager Technical Advisory, you will be primarily responsible for providing technical advice and support to the broader VGCCC relating to the technical operations of all gambling sectors.
To be successful in this position you will have:
  • Experience in monitoring the external environment to diagnose where external factors will impact major innovations or strategies
  • The ability to design approaches for evaluating the effectiveness of a gambling operator's systems, processes and controls to detect weaknesses or issues in those systems, processes and controls that could undermine integrity, safety or fairness of gambling operations
You will be part of a purpose-driven organisation at a pivotal time — where your skills and ideas can truly make a difference.
What we can offer you
We value our employees and provide our people with:
  • Meaningful work that prioritises, integrity, fairness and community safety.
  • Opportunities to grow and learn new skills to build a fulfilling career.
  • Collaborative and supportive culture that encourages success and growth.
  • An attractive salary package with salary sacrifice options.
  • A genuine commitment to support work/life balance (through a range of flexible working options appropriate to the nature of work performed)
    • Tailored initiatives that support well-being and psychological safety.
    • A safe and engaging environment for all employees, including the adjustments and accommodations we can offer to people with different needs.
