The Opportunity
We’re looking for a highly motivated and commercially astute Marketplace Lead to manage and grow our Marketplace Seller program across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll drive strategy, deliver key initiatives, and lead end-to-end account management to improve the seller experience, strengthen partnerships and deliver sustainable growth.
You’ll develop a strong understanding of the seller journey, build engaging communication and content, and work cross-functionally to improve seller performance and marketplace governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with sellers to drive growth and platform engagement
- Analyse seller performance and provide insights to optimise commercial outcomes
- Lead onboarding, setup and go-to-market activities for new sellers and products
- Develop and implement promotional calendars and communication plans
- Monitor product compliance, quality and content accuracy
- Champion seller needs internally and support improvements to processes, systems and service delivery
- Develop and manage monthly performance scorecards and quarterly reviews
- Conduct competitive research and provide recommendations to improve our proposition
- Partner with key functions (eCommerce, CRM, CX, Category Management) to deliver end-to-end marketplace initiatives
- Deliver against sales and margin targets, and support annual budget and strategic planning
- 1–2 years’ experience in eCommerce or retail (buying, marketplace or commercial roles preferred)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisational and project management capability
- Attention to detail and solid Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Ability to work at pace and juggle multiple priorities
- Understanding of digital product content and ecommerce workflows
- A proactive mindset and passion for creating exceptional partner experiences
