About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to manage and coordinate recruitment, appointment, and ongoing employment functions for Resident Medical Officers, (Registrars, House Officers and Interns), ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Queensland Health and Metro North policies and procedures.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Ensure high quality, contemporary and client-focused service delivery that meets workforce demands.
Operate with a high level of autonomy and self-directedness to resolve issues with the ability to manage high pressure and demanding environments, with proven ability to effectively coordinate, prioritise and complete a number of different tasks of a complex nature within competing timeframes.
Maintain a general working knowledge of the relevant Legislations, Awards, Certified Agreements, policies and guidelines, and provide advice on application and compliance across the medical workforce.
Successfully manage, coordinate and be accountable for the annual QH Intern and Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Recruitment Campaign as well as adhoc external recruitment campaigns for junior doctors.
