About the Role
We are currently seeking a female support worker in Rockingham, WA, with experience in supporting individuals with schizophrenia, acquired brain injury (ABI), stroke, and diabetes.
This role offers a consistent weekly schedule and the opportunity to build meaningful rapport with the client. Growth in hours may be available depending on client needs and compatibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal and emotional support
- Assist with daily living activities
- Monitor and manage symptoms associated with schizophrenia, ABI, stroke, and diabetes
- Ensure medication compliance (where required)
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment
Shift Details:
- Days: Monday to Sunday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
About You
- Must be flexible and adaptable
- Experience working with clients with complex needs
- Empathetic, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Essential Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- Full Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in Disability Support or related field
