The opportunity
The Simple Plumbing Applications Officer is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by responding to customer inquiries and supporting various other duties within the business as needed. This role involves assessing plumbing applications and asset information requests, as well as managing customer interactions in accordance with business and regulatory guidelines. The goal is to create seamless experiences that demonstrate trust, valued expertise, and responsiveness.
Responsibilities
- Effectively respond to customer requests regarding plumbing applications while maintaining customer satisfaction, updating records, supporting team targets, and adhering to Greater Western Water’s service standards and policies.
- Facilitate the development and improvement of procedures and processes to enhance quality assurance and customer experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders outside your team to stay informed and deliver accurate information to customers, improving overall customer satisfaction.
- Engage in training, quality assessments, and knowledge management to enhance customer experience and stay informed about relevant trends and issues. Support the business through knowledge transfer and coaching others as needed.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills with a focus on customer service.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and effective negotiation skills for problem-solving.
- Capable of working independently in a structured environment, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a commitment to timely and accurate work outputs.
- Demonstrated adaptability in multi-tasking and motivating both self and team members.
