Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East.
About the position
St Joseph's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located on the grounds of the St Joseph's Catholic School in Mount Isa, in the suburb of Happy Valley.
Consisting of two large rooms opening out onto our beautiful playground, we offer various activities and experiences in indoor and outdoor settings, giving children freedom of choice every day.
Our centre is seeking a dedicated Coordinator to lead the operation of our service on a full time, permanent basis working 38 hours per week. This service operates 50 weeks a year and is open from 7am to 8.30am and 2.30pm to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
You will have the support a Business Operations Consultant and other experts in their fields from Mary MacKillop Childcare NQ.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Diploma of Early Childhood & Care or an equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering education and/or care of children
- Ability to develop and continually build professional relationships with the team, families and stakeholders
- Demonstrate a commitment to develop a requisite knowledge and understanding of the operations of the education and care services
