What you'll be doing
- Transfer of in-patients from Far West LHD Public hospital to another hospital facility, medical appointment, Nursing homes or private residences, Airport/RFDS, under the direct supervision of a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
Transportation of staff and deliveries as requested.
- Check and maintain vehicles.
Plan and arrange maintenance of vehicle.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence Class C and Current Apply First Aid Certificate.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Physically capable of transferring patients, loading, unloading and manoeuvring patients around, on and off stretchers or wheelchairs.
- Demonstrated experience with using computer systems and Microsoft programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or part of a team with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of challengers of working in a remote area.
- Demonstrated previous experience relating to position.
