We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
Highly developed leadership, coaching and supervisory skills with demonstrated capabilities and experience in managing the delivery of high quality HR management services in a complex environment with competing priorities and finite resources.
Extensive, detailed knowledge of contemporary HR management principles and practices and demonstrated experience in providing high level strategic and tactical advice relating to a wide range of HR issues including establishment management, recruitment and workforce planning/management.
Proven ability to plan, manage and evaluate major HR projects and develop and implement strategic HR initiatives leading to continuous workforce improvement and the achievement of organisational objectives.
Demonstrated high level ability to build productive relationships and liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve expected organisational outcomes.
Proven ability to solve complex problems, analyse issues from various perspectives, exercise sound judgement and develop effective solutions and service improvement initiatives that support the overall business strategy for the organisation.

Whilst not mandatory, possession of tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s in human resource management will be highly regarded.
