- As a Principal Program Officer, you will:
- Prepare a range of written materials including cabinet submissions, procurement documentation, executive correspondence, briefing material, speech notes and information papers concerned with the programs and initiatives delivered by the business unit.<space>This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
Develop, manage and implement projects and programs that support the effective delivery of services relevant to the business unit.
Provide high level program management advice and direction in relation to human service initiatives.
Identify information from a wide range of sources and provide strategic analysis and advice on complex operation program, policy and legislative issues relating to the programs and initiatives delivered by the business unit.
Coordinate day-to-day operations to deliver on project outcomes that support the department's capacity to deliver and maintain quality services.
Provide high level liaison, consultation and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders towards the development and implementation of whole-of-government policy and program initiatives relating to the programs and initiatives delivered by the business unit.
Ensure that service delivery arrangements support the department's program and strategic intent.
