With our growing digital and e-commerce presence, we are looking for an experienced and strategic Procurement Officer to join our team and support our continued national growth.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum
Role: Full-time
Location: Sydney Markets NSW 2129
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
· Source and manage suppliers to ensure product quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
· Negotiate contracts covering pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
· Conduct market analysis to support cost-efficiency and innovation.
· Monitor supplier performance and address any issues impacting quality or timelines.
· Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively.
· Mitigate procurement and logistics risks by establishing contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
· Process purchase orders in line with budget and sales forecasts.
· Analyse procurement data and prepare summary reports for management.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing, and legal standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement, preferably within retail, agriculture, or e-commerce environments.
· Strong expertise in supplier management, international trade compliance, and contract negotiations.
· Proficiency in ERP systems and digital inventory management software (like SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
· Demonstrated financial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and data analysis.
· Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
· Knowledge of Australian procurement standards, sustainability policies, and ethical sourcing requirements.
