About the role
The Product Manager Aboriginal Experiences will be our subject matter expert, leading initiatives that grow and showcase Aboriginal visitor experiences across NSW. You’ll work closely with Aboriginal tourism operators, stakeholders, and the NSW Aboriginal Tour Operator Council to strengthen capability, create new experiences, and ensure Aboriginal cultural tourism is meaningfully represented across Destination NSW programs.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and deliver initiatives that grow Aboriginal cultural experiences informed by data and consumer insights.
- Support and inspire Aboriginal operators and stakeholders to deliver high quality, authentic visitor experiences.
- Advocate for inclusion of Aboriginal cultural tourism across Destination NSW strategies, programs and marketing.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure growth and long-term sustainability of the Aboriginal tourism sector.

About you
We are looking for a motivated and collaborative professional who is passionate about Aboriginal cultural tourism and creating authentic experiences for visitors.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Strong experience in product or visitor experience development, ideally within the tourism, cultural or lifestyle sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal cultural tourism development, with experience working alongside Aboriginal stakeholders and communities.
- Excellent relationship building, facilitation and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while delivering results.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Tourism, or a related discipline.
