- Salary relative to experience, ranges from $113,574 - $125,720 + superannuation.
About the role
As a Program Officer within the Community Recovery Programs Branch, you will coordinate and support the design and delivery of programs that support disaster recovery. You will manage relationships and agreements with delivery partners, contribute to procurement and project planning, and ensure programs are aligned with agency objectives.
Your work will involve preparing reports and documentation, conducting research and analysis, and facilitating stakeholder engagement to support effective program outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to making a positive impact in disaster-affected communities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience contributing to program design, implementation, and coordination.
- Strong skills in preparing project documentation, reports, and discussion papers.
- Ability to support procurement planning and monitor contract management processes.
- Analytical skills to identify trends and inform policy and project development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects to deadlines using robust project management practices.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
