The Programming & Content Curation Executive is responsible for executing day-to-day scheduling for Disney+ Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and alignment with business rules. This role will also actively support in the ideation and execution of the content planning strategy to maximise our robust content slate and ensure that content priorities are reflected.

Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Act as the primary day-to-day scheduler on Disney+ Programming, using the Disney+ Scheduling tool

  • Become an expert/super-user in the Disney+ Scheduling tool and train new users as required

  • Maintaining the flow of coming soon pages available and scheduling once available

  • Review weekly/monthly reports of scheduled content to ensure accuracy, and for use across other LOBs such as PR, Social etc

  • Work closely with the Programming and Content Curation Manager on optimising the content slate across our portfolio of content pipelines.

  • Support cross line of business communication, including briefing monthly content highlights, briefing PR Highlights, and organising internal staff screenings of tentpole content.

To be successful in this role, you will hold:

  • 2 years’ experience in content scheduling, ideally in digital media and entertainment

  • SVOD experience preferred

  • Meticulous attention to detail and proven commitment to accuracy

  • Proficiency and direct experience with scheduling tools, ideally What’s On

  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Docs, and other relevant software tools. Ability to quickly and proactively learn or adapt to new tools as needed

  • Passion and insight into The Walt Disney Company brands and franchises

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in an extremely fast-paced and high-pressure working environment
