Job Description
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced fulltime Accounts Officer to join our team based in Subiaco.
About the role
The ideal candidate will have background in project admin and/or accounting, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working within a small finance team providing support to our present team. This includes:
- Project set up and closures
- Accounts payable input
- Accounts receivable
- Invoicing monthly
- Debtors – chasing of overdue invoices for WA and NT and QLD
- Monthly visa cards reconciliation
Qualifications
This role would be perfect for those with some accounting experience and would like to expand their knowledge.
Skills and experience include:
- 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Suite (Excel preferred).
- Previous experience with BST will be highly regarded.
- Self-starter, proactive, strong work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve discrepancies on projects and AP/AR
