Join EssilorLuxottica and play a key role in shaping the future of retail across our iconic brands-Sunglass Hut, OPSM and Oakley throughout Australia and New Zealand. In this exciting role within our Real Estate & Store Development team you’ll lead the coordination and delivery of new store fit outs, exciting store projects, and strategic business initiatives. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external partners to bring each project to life on time, to spec and ready for full operation.

This is a fixed term contract role for a 12 month dutation
Requirements for Success
  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end store projects including new openings, refurbishments, relocations, closures, rebrands, and acquisitions, ensuring all are delivered on time and to company standards.
  • Manage project timelines and communications by maintaining and distributing fit-out schedules, memos, countdown reports, and key documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to organise store infrastructure, equipment, services, and digital tools required for operational readiness.
  • Coordinate store refurbishment updates and meetings, ensuring timely project progress reporting and collaboration across internal departments and franchise networks.
  • Support store operational readiness by ensuring stores are fully functional at go-live, including IT setup, equipment delivery, WINC orders, store services, and post-fit-out defect resolution.
  • Maintain accurate store data in systems such as SAP ensuring up-to-date location, trading hours, and operational details
  • Develop and update documentation and manuals including store information packs, renovation/closure guides, and brand-specific store manuals.
  • Manage project-related admin and compliance, such as coordinating storage, float requests, cash handling setup, gift card programs, asset reviews, and visual documentation.
  • Track and report on performance metrics, including digital equipment status, and store readiness via audits, visual checks, and customer feedback.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, assisting in IT and digital forecasting, continuous improvement of processes, and supporting property and finance teams with data for reporting and planning.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience (2 years or more) in a Project Coordinator or comparable role
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, priorities, and timelines effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset, willing to collaborate and support where needed.
  • Problem-solving skills, with a confident, motivated, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Customer-focused approach, ensuring high service standards across all touchpoints.
  • Keen eye for industry trends and emerging technologies, applying new knowledge to drive better outcomes.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Foundational SAP skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in system use.
