Within the Department of Education, the Department of Education International, trading as Education Queensland International, providers education programs, services and experiences for student and teachers in Queensland and overseas.
The International Student Programs Team supports schools and overseas students through a variety of programs, policy and procedures, as well as progressional development.
About the Role:
As a Project Officer you will have the following responsibilities, in addition to the points outlined within the attached role description:
Develop and maintain Power BI reporting dashboards for the provision of accurate, reliable and appropriate data for management and our stakeholders.
Implement system and data controls to ensure the quality, security and integrity of data collections from a variety of departmental systems and sources.
Produce a range of correspondence, including reports, presentations (online and face to face) and information packages to support international education engagement
Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives, processes and systems for effective and efficient administration of departmental services.
Provide assistance to management and other teams within the branch to ensure the achievement of the broader goals and objectives of the Department of Education International.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
Be a strong communicator
Have great time management and the ability to work autonomously or in a team
Have previous experience with using, maintaining and or developing Power Bi dashboards (desirable but not mandatory)
Have previous experience using Microsoft Excel (creating formulas, using pivot table and charts)
Understanding of customer relationship management systems (desirable but not mandatory)
