ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team supporting our long-term Major Infrastructure construction scopes in Rockingham, WA. The role will be initially based at our Balcatta office and transitioning to Rockingham in February 2026.
As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance processes, driving continuous improvement, and embedding a culture of excellence within project teams.
Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Report to the Project Manager and client on all QA/QC matters, while managing and motivating a team of Quality Engineers
- Produce the Quality Management Plans and related Quality Management tools, including Work Packs, Inspection & Test Plans, and Check Sheets in readiness for site construction, installations and field inspections
- Ensure Project teams complete all required QA/QC surveillance and documentation to the applicable project requirements and standards
- Understand the non-conformance process and liaise with the client and the project teams to develop corrective and preventative actions to mitigate reoccurrence.
- Provide in house training to Project team members on Quality documentation and surveillance activities.
- Ensure the Contractor's and vendor's quality records and MDR's are compiled in a progressive manner throughout the course of the works
To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in a Quality Manager or similar role on construction projects
- Strong technical knowledge surrounding Civil and Electrical Engineering scopes.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Bachelor in Civil Engineering or similar qualification (desirable).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential).
- Australian Defence background is desirable.
- MUST hold relevant Australian working rights
