Key Duties include
- Execute and supervise all allocated flights at the remote operating centre during a shift; including flight planning & tracking
- Accountable for the safe operation of each drone
- Confident with radio communication across aviation networks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Conduct aerial surveying and mapping tasks from the remote centre
- Process flight data and complete documentation
- Track & maintain all relevant flight and maintenance documentation
- Deliver quality professional services to our clients.
- Maintaining a high level of compliance within CASA regulations and requirements
Skills and Experience
The minimum requirements for candidates to be considered for the role are:
- An RePL and AROC with evidenced flight experience of over 50 hours in the multirotor class
- Willingness to grow, learn & work against a flexible schedule
Desirable qualifications and experience are:
- RPAS experience across any other classes (fixed-wing, powered lift, etc)
- Prior experience in general aviation industry (CPL, PPL, ATC, etc)
- IREX Rating or BVLOS OCTA certification
- Experience in a Remote Operating Centre environment from other industries
- A background in geospatial sciences or reliability engineering to support and inform the respective surveying and inspection mission objectives
