Research Data Manager - Parkville Familial Cancer Centre
- 24-months fixed term, part time

About the team
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Data Manager to join the research team within the Parkville Familial Cancer Centre (PFCC). The Centre provides a comprehensive cancer genetics service including cancer risk assessment, genetic counselling, genetic testing, medical advice and management as well as psychological support to individuals with concerns about their personal and/or family history of cancer. The Centre is also a hub for clinical and translational research.
About the role
This position will play a key role in supporting research in the Parkville Familial Cancer Centre (PFCC). They will be the data manager for the Variants in Practice (ViP) study - a large clinic-based multi-site translational research study investigating the inherited causes of breast and ovarian cancer. Working with the small study team, they will be responsible for redeveloping and maintaining the study databases, systems, data flows, and data collection processes. They will also provide database design and data management support to other PFCC research projects as required.
The sucessful candidate will have experience in managing clinical research data, including the design, development, and maintenance of research databases.
Salary between $45,227.76 - $60,050.64 dependent on experience. To be discussed with hiring manager.
