Apex Guardian is seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard for a residential complex in Bondi. This is a ongoing position offering 4–5 consistent shifts per week, including weekends. We are looking for someone who can commit to a permanent weekly roster.
About the Role:
This is not a static desk role. You will be responsible for regular patrols, CCTV monitoring, and shift reporting every hour. You’ll operate independently, maintain security presence, and act as the first point of contact for any building issues overnight.
Shift Routine:
- Patrols: Approximately 40 minutes each hour covering common areas, stairwells, and carpark
- Admin: 20 minutes per hour in the office monitoring CCTV and completing hourly reports
- Ongoing documentation of incidents, patterns, or resident issues
- THIS IS NOT A DESK ROLE - Hourly patrols required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough foot patrols throughout the building
- Monitor security systems and cameras from the control office
- Complete clear and detailed written logs each hour
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management
- Respond to incidents professionally and calmly
- Act as a key contact for residents during overnight hours
Requirements:
- Current NSW Security Licence
- Strong communication skills and written English
- Neat and professional presentation
- Proactive
- Must be available to work weekends
- Long-term commitment to a consistent weekly roster is essential

Before You Apply:

- You must be available to work the same shifts each week on an ongoing basis
- You must be able to travel to Bondi for each shift
- You must be available to work every weekend (days off permitted with prior agreement)
- You must be proactive and physically capable of patrolling for the majority of your 8-hour shift — this is not a desk role; hourly foot patrols are a core requirement
