Wood is recruiting for skilled and motivated Rigger/Scaffolders and Crane Operators.
The Role
Location: Portland, Victoria - site based

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute lifts of structural steel, piping, equipment, and scaffolding components.
- Rigging cranes and EWP installs in congested, brownfield areas.
- Dogging operations including load securing, signalling and lift path safety
- Operate forklifts and telehandlers for material handling and movement.
- Scaffold erection, modifications and dismantling for access and fall protection.
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures, PTW systems and lift plans
- Work closely with construction supervisors and safety teams to ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minium 2-5 years’ experience in heavy industrial environments.
- Brownfield experience highly regarded
- Previous experience in heavy manufacturing / industrial or continuous production environment is preferred
- Basic/Intermediate/Advanced Rigging / Scaffolding tickets
- Crane or Forklift licence
- Driver’s License.
- Previous experience with permit to work processes within hazardous areas.
- Proven ability to follow and imbue good HSE principles and behaviours.
- Proven ability to work within a team.
- Personnel located within the Portland Region, or greater western Victoria is considered advantageous.
