Aus Community Health is a small but growing disability services business dedicated to supporting individuals in our community to live with dignity, independence, and joy. We're looking for a Junior Social Media Manager to help us amplify our mission and grow our online presence.
About the Role:
As our Junior Social Media Manager, you will take ownership of our social media platforms and help shape how we connect with our community online. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about digital storytelling, social impact, and inclusive communities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating engaging, inclusive, and on-brand content using Canva
- Scheduling and posting across platforms (primarily Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn)
- Growing and managing our follower base
- Community management – responding to comments, messages, and engaging with our audience
- Tracking performance and providing basic insights on engagement
- Handling light admin duties related to social media and communications
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- A creative and proactive communicator with a strong eye for design
- Passionate about disability inclusion, health, or community impact
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Familiar with Canva and basic social media analytics tools
- Organised, reliable, and eager to grow their digital marketing skills
- Able to contribute 2 full days per week (flexible scheduling available)
✨ Nice to Have (but not essential):
- Previous experience with social media for a small business or non-profit
- Background or interest in community services, health, or disability support
- Familiarity with content scheduling tools like Buffer, Later, or Meta Business Suite
