Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. Are you passionate about live events, enjoy fast-paced environments, and thrive on detail and customer service? Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Venue Services Assistant for a 6-month full-time contract role.
This is a rare opportunity to gain valuable experience across South Australia's premier entertainment and sporting venues including the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Coopers Stadium, and other AVM-managed venues.
The Role
Working closely with our Venue Hiring and Ticketing teams, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the administrative and operational functions related to venue bookings, event builds, ticketing, client services, and event day delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to booking enquiries and manage venue availability through EBMS.
- Support the preparation of seating plans and ticketing builds for live events.
- Liaise with promoters, ticketing companies, and internal departments to coordinate event logistics.
- Update event listings, sales plans and marketing content for AEC platforms.
- Provide on-ground event day support with a focus on seating and ticketing accuracy.
Skills you will bring to the role:
You’re a proactive, organised team player who thrives in a high-energy, deadline-driven environment. You bring a customer-first attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences. You will have:
- Prior experience in event administration, venue operations, ticketing or a related field.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel; CAD experience desirable).
- High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task across competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
