Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Visiting Dental Officer to join our team at Sydney Dental Hospital.
We are looking for a Visiting Dental Officer in Orthodontics! The primary purpose of the role is to provide specialist Orthodontic services to Sydney Dental Hospital and Oral Health Services within facilities based in Sydney Local Health District.
The Visiting Dental Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement in professional development and is responsible for maintenance of quality with all aspects of their service delivery and the efficient use of resources within Sydney Local Health District.
The daily Work Duty Schedule is as negotiated with Head of Department of Specialist Services of Sydney Dental Hospital. The role includes undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and supervision.
The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), as a Dental Specialist in Orthodontics and/or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Health Employees Dental Officers (State) Award, with demonstrable experience in providing specialist dental care in Orthodontics for a range of treatment modalities.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Health Employees Dental Officers (STATE) Award.
