Key Responsibilities
As a Web Designer, you will:
- Design Geospatial Interfaces: Create intuitive user interfaces for web applications and geospatial platforms such as ArcGIS and ESRI, ensuring seamless interaction with spatial data and map-based tools.
- Responsive & Accessible Design: Develop responsive layouts and interactive components that meet WCAG accessibility standards, supporting inclusive and device-agnostic user experiences.
- Prototyping & Concept Communication: Produce wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate UI concepts and user flows to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, GIS analysts, and stakeholders to ensure designs are user-centric, technically feasible, and aligned with project goals and constraints.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of proven experience in the IT or similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in managing inventory and supplier relationships.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and multitasking abilities.
