Are you a friendly, organised, and proactive individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? St Basil's Homes is seeking a Permanent Part-time Administration Assistant to be the welcoming face of our St Peters facility!

What you’ll do:
As the first point of contact, this role is key to creating a welcoming and professional environment. The Administration Assistant sets the tone for the quality of service provided by St Basil’s. This role is centred on delivering exceptional service to residents, visitors, families, and staff with warmth, efficiency, and professionalism

Main duties/responsibilities:

  • Provide professional reception services, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience for residents, visitors, families, and staff.
  • Greet and direct visitors, offering clear guidance upon arrival.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly and courteously addressing phone, email, and in-person inquiries, screening and redirecting as appropriate.
  • Maintain a calm, professional, and inviting presentation of the main reception area at all times.
  • Deliver general office administration support to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations.
  • Assist with managing daily roster changes and unplanned leave, to ensure effective and responsive roster management.
What you will bring to the role:
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to residents and their families.
  • An appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity
  • 3 to 5 years of customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and the ability to learn various other systems (e.g., quality management systems, databases, and rostering systems).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Exceptional customer service focus with a professional and courteous approach.
  • Availability to work weekends (essential)
