Wills and Estate Planning Consultant (Wollongong) – NSW Trustee and Guardian
We are looking for a keen and motivated Consultant to join the Wills and Estates Planning team and help make a difference to our customers.
Ongoing, full-time role - 35 hours per week
Location: Wollongong. This role is customer facing and requires office attendance five days per week.
Clerk Grade 3/4. Base salary $84,659 p.a. to $92,701 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the team
The Estate Planning and Administration division is responsible for delivering NSW Trustee & Guardian’s commercial services in Will making, as trustee, attorney, and as administrator/executor of deceased estates.
The Wills and Estate Planning team provides a fully accredited Will preparation service, writing more than 13,000 Wills, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents each year, helping customers to plan ahead and document their last wishes.
About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver professional, high-quality, and timely Wills and Estate Planning services to the NSW community. This includes drafting simple planning ahead documents and contributing to team performance within the Wills and Estate Planning Network. The role aims to increase market share and provide direct and timely administrative support to ensure a seamless end-to-end service that is both customer and outcome focussed. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering services that align with NSW Trustee and Guardian’s Customer Excellence Principles, drafting and executing legally compliant Wills and Estate Planning instruments, and coordinating venue hire logistics for Plan Ahead Days and community engagement activities.
Key accountabilities include undertaking pre and post-appointment activities to ensure timely and quality service delivery, assisting with local community engagement events to boost brand awareness, and maintaining a contemporary approach to service delivery through various strategies, including face-to-face and video conferencing. The role also involves managing high work outputs and competing demands to generate favourable customer outcomes, while balancing consistency in service delivery across a large geographic area to meet the diverse needs of NSW Trustee and Guardian’s customer base.

Essential requirements
Current driver licence and ability to travel across NSW as required.
Willingness to obtain accreditation in Will making, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents. Training and accreditation is provided by NSW Trustee and Guardian.
Willingness to have phone calls and team email accounts monitored for quality assurance and training purposes, and to participate in one-to-one review sessions for calls and emails.
Available to work after hours and weekends as required and in particular circumstances.
Willingness to work in the Wollongong office five days per week.
