Help us keep children safe by ensuring compliance with Working with Children Check (WWCC) requirements across the organisation.
As our WWCC Officer, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding children by managing WWCC validation, compliance, and reporting processes nationally.
You’ll provide trusted advice and support to centres, staff, volunteers, contractors, and students, ensuring our practices align with legislation, child safe frameworks, and regulatory obligations.
Your Impact:
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in safeguarding children by ensuring Goodstart meets its Working with Children Check (WWCC) obligations nationally. Your work will strengthen our child safe culture and provide peace of mind to families, centres, and communities.
You’ll support our people by maintaining accurate WWCC records, managing compliance requirements, and providing timely advice to centres, staff, volunteers, contractors, and students across all states and territories. You’ll also respond to enquiries and concerns with professionalism, helping to identify risks and ensure the right actions are taken.
By building knowledge and confidence in our centres and contributing to continuous improvement, your impact will be felt across the organisation—giving our teams the confidence that every child is safe and supported in our care.

You’ll bring to the table:
A valid Working with Children Check (relevant to your state/territory).
Experience in a customer-service focused role, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Background in business administration, compliance, or early learning (desirable).
Knowledge of WWCC requirements, child protection legislation, or child safe organisation principles (desirable).
Proven ability to manage compliance-based processes independently, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
Completion of secondary education (minimum).
