The Admin Distribution Officer is responsible for City of Parramatta's Food Services Meals on Wheels kitchen duties, receptionist duties and administration support within the Community Care Team.
This role encompasses highly responsive customer service, attention to detail and flexible support to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the Community Care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfil all administrational duties including, switchboard, word processing, communication dissemination, and customer enquires
- Complete accurate, reconciled, record keeping and data entry across multiple IT platforms
- Complete Meals on Wheels stock control processes including freezer work, stock rotation & inventory, meal packing & ordering
- Raising Purchase Orders and Receipting in line with Council processes
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Current C Class Drivers License
- Food Handling Certificate
- Minimum 2 years administration experience
- Demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Suite.
- Experience in food distribution is highly desirable including tasks such as lifting, stock rotation, inventory management, order processing, meticulous attention to detail regarding allergen labelling and packing
- Strong time management capabilities with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
