About the Centre/Service
Park Orchards Kindergarten is located in a beautiful bush setting and provides children with opportunities to explore and develop through a play-based program. We have strong emphasis on supporting and developing relationships between the child, family, staff and wider community. Our Kindergarten is run by a dedicated Committee of Management. The staff are passionate about the education and care of children and are seeking a highly organised administration “superstar” who will support the team with day-to-day operations, enrolment processes, policies, parent communications, compliance documentation, and keeping our vibrant learning community thriving behind the scenes. Park Orchards Kindergarten is a child-safe employer.

Description
- Oversee daily administrative operational systems including Enrol Now, Department of Education’s ARRIVAL system, KIMS and more.
- Serve as the key liaison between families, staff, Committee of Management and external stakeholders (Department of Education, Early Learning Association of Australia).
- Provide admin support to the Educational Leader in implementing strategic plans (Quality Improvement Plan, School Readiness Funding Plan).
- Assist with grant applications, grant acquittals, website updates, purchasing and maintaining supplier relationships and other ad-hoc administration requirements.
- Respond to enrolment enquiries and enrol families observing the Priority of Access guidelines.
- Updating Kinder Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance.
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational and communication skills
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Exhibit a strong understanding of child-safe practices
- Adhere to all relevant legislative and policy frameworks
- Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010)
- Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Kindergarten policies, procedures, and funding criteria
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills. (Essential)
- Proficiency in IT-based workflow and data management systems. (Essential)
- Ability to take initiative, organise, plan and prioritise work. (Essential)
- Strong understanding of Victorian Early Childhood frameworks and funding. (Desirable)
- Experience in early childhood service delivery and administration. (Desirable)
- Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis certificates. (Essential)
- WWCC and MARAM training. (Essential)
