Your Opportunity
Transition to Work provides no cost employment services to help employers recruit young employees, while supporting them to enter the workforce. This can include trainees and apprentices. If you have left school early or have had difficulty finding work after school, our Transition to Work service can help you build your skills and confidence and support you into work or education, including apprenticeships or traineeships.
The administration officer plays a key role in supporting program compliance and overall performance. This position has a focus on auditing and compliance which supports the operational teams day-to-day running of the program. The role supports the Program Manager, assists team members, and ensures compliance with organisational requirements
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Audit entry of employment and education placements and claims process
- Work closely with operational staff to ensure data entry is completed to a high standard
- Examine and verify records to ensure accuracy and compliance is achieved
- Support the Wage Subsidy processes and payments for the program
- Support the program to comply with program requirements
- Provide recommendations to improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce risk of error.
- Support program operations through clerical, compliance, and financial administration.
- Uphold Mission Australia’s commitment to child and youth safe practices.
- Contribute to workplace health and safety, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for staff and participants
- Develop strong working relationships with cross functional teams
Requirements for Success
- Previous experience in administration, reception, or office support.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with a wide range of people.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A commitment to child safety, confidentiality, and Mission Australia’s values.
- Strong knowledge of office systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Driver’s licence
