What you'll be doing
The Outpatients Administration Officer is responsible for the accurate data entry of clinic appointments into the iSoft Patient Management System (iPM), maintainance of filing systems and the organisation of documentation associated with all appointments, Electronic Medicare Billing and Electronic patient Flow system.
The Outpatients Administration Officer provides a frontline reception service for patients, visitors and staff regarding amenities and Hospital Clinics for Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospital's.

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated administration experience with competent use of IT applications including but not limited to computerised patient administration systems and Microsoft Office Programs.
- Excellent reception skills & customer service including appropriate telephone manner and a patient-centric approach to service provision
- Demonstrated high level of written, verbal and electronic communication skills to work well with a broad scope of patients, staff and affiliated organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to achieve quality patient/service outcomes
- Proven ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with both clients and staff during stressful situations.
- Demonstrated ability to follow systems and processes to support efficient and effective service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and to prioritise multiple tasks with competing timeframes with exceptional organisational and communication skills
- Commitment to own professional development and willingness to undertake further organisational based training when required
