About the role
As a Senior Technical Advisor – Assets Delivery, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of capital investment projects that are fit for purpose and ready for operation. Your expertise will help ensure these projects meet Water Corporation’s operational, safety, financial, environmental, and social standards.

What you can expect with this role
- Act as the key representative for asset management and operational stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead the identification and communication of project risks and business impacts, ensuring stakeholders are informed and mitigation strategies are in place
- Champion a safety-first approach, ensuring all activities are planned and executed without compromising health and wellbeing
- Inspire high performance through strong leadership, fostering a motivated and achievement-driven project team culture
- Ensure project AHC deliverables meet service delivery requirements and are accurately recorded in asset management systems prior to Asset Transfer (ATR), proactively resolving gaps and escalating where needed
- Maintain accurate records of recoverable time against projects in corporate systems
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- A post-secondary qualification (tertiary or trade) in an engineering-related discipline
- Extensive experience in both asset management and project delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proven ability to build effective relationships
- Solid understanding of water infrastructure assets and systems
- Sound knowledge of asset management principles and industry best practices
- Well-developed project management expertise
- Awareness of asset management challenges within the Australian water industry (highly desirable)
