About the Role

We are seeking someone with a customer service and/or an administration background to join our team at WARRNAMBOOL to work on a two day per week, part-time basis, (Thursday and Friday each week) as a District Support Officer.

This exciting, office-based role works within a positive, supportive and close-knit team and offers excellent opportunity for growth and development within the CFA.

Key responsibilities of this varied role will involve:

  • Provision of customer service and general administrative and office support.
  • Data entry, database and systems coordination.
  • Records administration.
  • Liaison with external suppliers to generate quotes etc.
  • Liaison and communication with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders to ensure an effective service delivery.
  • Accounts payable administration.
  • Providing support at meetings including, organising and scheduling, agenda preparation, venue and catering requirements.
  • Participation in Incident Management support roles appropriate to experience and qualifications.

This is a fantastic opportunity and would suit an all-rounder who enjoys a variety of duties whilst providing exceptional customer service.

About You

The ideal candidate will be hands on and keen to join a small team. You will have a strong commitment to teamwork and be looking for a role within a fast-paced team.

Additional requirements include:

  • Motivation and enthusiasm with demonstrated administration experience and excellent attention to detail.
  • Efficient computer skills including working knowledge of Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Word - knowledge of finance applications will be a bonus).
  • Experience interacting with people at all levels and be able to work with minimal supervision in a proactive manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Adaptability, positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to demonstrate your initiative.
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to pitch in where needed.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills and a proactive and autonomous approach.

Please note, some travel and after-hours work may be required for this role.
